Daffodils are bright, hopeful, and cheery. Being March’s official flower, they are the first sign that spring is in the air. I designed these cookies to be quick and simple, yet elegant, and a nice cookie to make for gifts. These make perfect centerpieces for your Easter table, any dessert table, hostess gifts, birthday gifts, get-well gifts, and of course the perfect gift for the gardener in your life. No special tools are needed for this beginner level project -- just two gel colors, two icing bags, a pointed paintbrush, scribe or toothpicks, cookies and icing! I even include the cutter templates to cut your shapes out. Of course, you can always get the cutters sold at Bobbiscutters.com to make it easier.
With a few more materials, I also show you how to make the daffodil gift wrapped potted plant that is a perfect container for gifting or to display as table or potluck centerpieces!
