Daffodils are bright, hopeful, and cheery. Being March’s official flower, they are the first sign that spring is in the air. I designed these cookies to be quick and simple, yet elegant, and a nice cookie to make for gifts. These make perfect centerpieces for your Easter table, any dessert table, hostess gifts, birthday gifts, get-well gifts, and of course the perfect gift for the gardener in your life. Come along with me, and in this 47-minute prerecorded video I'll show you step-by-step how to do each design. I’ll also tell you when to put me on pause each time so that you can do them right along with me.
No special tools are needed for this beginner level project -- just two gel colors, two icing bags, a pointed paintbrush, scribe or toothpicks, cookies and icing! I even include the cutter templates to cut your shapes out. Of course, you can always get the cutters sold at Bobbiscutters.com to make it easier.
With a few more materials, I also show you how to make the daffodil gift wrapped potted plant that is a perfect container for gifting or to display as table or potluck centerpieces!
WHAT IS INCLUDED: You will receive a 4-page pdf paper to download with Pictures of these cookies which include the 2 Templates for the cutters if you rather cut your cookies out; Tips on Achieving the Right Icing Consistency for this class; a Supplies List; and a Personal Link to watch the Video through Vimeo at your leisure and as many times as you want for as long as you want.
*Be sure to save the pdf file on your computer or print off the pdf document download link that comes with your confirmation (and the same pdf download comes with your follow-up e-mail.) Unfortunately, the website automatically erases both after one month, even if you save the email, and that's where your password and handouts are located!
NOTE: This class does not give out my cookie recipe or icing recipe. Those are found on my Royal Icing Foundations Course and Cookie Dough Foundations Course.
